The value of jewellery is defined differently by each and every person. To me personally a fundamental value in jewellery are emotions. Whether it's your grandmother's ring or ones children's initials, we all like jewellery that represents our beloved ones. The Read Me jewellery collection connects to this idea. Read Me is a self created typography. The font transforms letters into forms. Starting as an experiment I used the existing lines of the letters from A to Z and systematically mirrored the inside lines of each letter by 180 ° to the “outside”. The effect: New shapes that represent letters. The experiment turned into a personalised jewellery series that impresses with its individuality and originality. Read Me acts like a kind of secret code. It is my
passion to develop concepts that can be discovered by people themselves. Starting with only one formletter the individual letters are also able to merge into words, names and small sentences. The result: figurative sculptures that carry written statements.
